Hetronic, a global leader in the design and manufacture of configured Industrial wireless Radio Remote Control (RRC) system solutions unveils its NOVA USTC Series portable ground control stations (GCS) for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and unmanned sea vehicles (USV). The NOVA USCT Series has been developed in partnership with LikeAbird, a leader in UTM & BVLOS Connectivity and power management for unmanned systems.

Hetronic introduces the next generation of NOVA Transmitter with leading edge technology to connect Man to Machine. The NOVA L 2.4 is ergonomically designed with a high resolution 2.4” TFT Color display and a more compact control panel. It is ideal for real-time control of smaller drones and unmanned systems for a wide range of industrial, civil and authority applications.

The NOVA L 2.4 also continues Hetronics’ tradition of implementing new technology to meet customer application needs by integrating a new long life Lithium Ion battery pack and man-down sensor capability. As standard it includes a throttle and a three-axis joysticks (Roll/Nick/Yaw), predefined toggle switches, rotary switches, buttons and LED’s. The layout can be tailored to customer’s requirements. The 2.4” TFT color display is available for real-time basic telemetry feedback, such as vehicle battery status, distance, altitude, GPS status, and more. 

Using the NOVA USCT 2.4 internal data gateway and with the ability to quickly adapt components such as external video receivers, antennas and digital modems, the system can interface with almost any fixed-wing or multi-rotor UAV and autopilots, including MAVLink based systems. The NOVA USCT 2.4 is a highly modular system that is easily upgraded and future-proofed.

The integrated IP (Ethernet) interface allows the use of the NOVA USCT 2.4 even for BVLOS operations using industrial WiFi and proprietary high power data links, and cellular networks.


OEM Mini-Receiver

The NOVA USCT 2.4 will be delivered with a the mini 2.4 GHz FHSS diversity receiving unit with standard PPM output and MAVLink serial interface for telemetry feedback.
